E-JUST Celebrates its Official Opening at Smart Village, Cairo

Under the auspices and attendance of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif, Prime Minister of Egypt, E-JUST celebrated its official opening held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Smart Village Conference Center, Cairo.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Hany Helal – Minister of Higher Education and State for Scientific Research, H.E. Ms. Fayza Aboulnaga – Minister of International Cooperation, H.E. Dr. Sadako Ogata – President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Mr. Mikio Sasaki – Chairman of Mitsubishi Corporation and H.E. Mr. Kaoru Ishikawa – Ambassador of Japan to Cairo. The ceremony was also witnessed by a number of ministers, major political and academic figures in addition to reputable public figures in the business and civil society from both Egypt and Japan.

On the side lines of the ceremony, H.E. Dr. Hany Helal – Minister of Higher Education and H.E. Mr. Kaoru Ishikawa – Ambassador of Japan to Egypt signed the agreement on cooperation in Science and Technology between Egypt and Japan witnessed by H.E. Prime Minister of Egypt, H.E. President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and H.E. Minister of International Cooperation
